How to play
Goal
Blue builds a chain of its stones between its two edges, Orange between the other two. The first chain to connect wins, and a game can never end in a draw.
Blue: connects top-right and bottom-left Orange: connects top-left and bottom-right
Your turn
You hold three dice: the two you roll and the gift your opponent left you. Two of them, in order, name a cell: the first is the row, the second the column. With three different dice that makes six cells; the app lights them up.
On the cell
- Empty: you place a stone.
- Your loose stone: you lock it. Locked stones can never be taken.
- Your opponent's loose stone: you capture it, and it becomes yours.
- A locked stone, anyone's: the cell cannot be played.
The gift
The die you do not use goes to your opponent, who will surely have it next turn: it gives them a whole row and a whole column. A cell is reachable one time in three when the gift is its row or column number, one time in twelve otherwise. Give away the number they need least.
Special cases
- Blue moves first, so its first turn is two dice, both used, no gift. Orange then rolls three.
- Three of a kind is a joker: play on any cell that is not locked.
- If none of your cells can be played you pass, but you still choose the die to give away.
Online
The server rolls the dice. You have 45 seconds a move: when time runs out a random cell is played for you, and three in a row lose the game. A player who drops has a minute to come back. In a rematch, whoever lost plays Blue.
